We seek an enthusiastic, customer-centric part-time/full-time Regulated Pharmacy Technician for our Dispensaries Compounding Centre and Dispensaries Stores. Qualifications:
To be considered for this opportunity, the ideal candidate must have/be:
-Regulated pharmacy technician
-A minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
-Ideally, some experience with Sterile Compounding
-Sterile training will be provided for the right candidate if they do not have it.
-Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
-Able to manage changing priorities
-Strong attention to detail
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
-Eagerness to learn and assist in maximizing efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
-Check prescriptions at the store level
-Support the pharmacists at
-Sterile compounding and compounding
-Review SOPs together with the quality control manager
-Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Assurance activities
-Assist the pharmacist in maintaining federal, provincial, and local laws, accrediting body standards, and Policies and Procedures (P&Ps).
-Confirming accuracy, completeness and a final check of compounded sterile products & preparing prescriptions for release (i.e. correct patient, drug dosage form/route, dose, doctor, etc.)
-Performs other duties as assigned.
