Speaker BIO: Atamjit is a proud pharmacy technician who has gained a diverse experience by working in variety of roles in different pharmacy settings over last 25 years including hospital and community practice. She is part of Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services Quality Assurance Teamin a non-traditional pharmacy technician role. She participates in developing, implementing, and evaluating quality, safety and innovative initiatives related to sterile compounding in Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services. Atamjit is passionate about changing status quo and continues to be involved in advocacy and promoting professional growth for her fellow pharmacy technicians through education and networking opportunities. Atamjit has been an active volunteer with various College of Pharmacists of British Columbia committees in the past decade to ensure our registrants are upholding high standards of pharmacy profession in BC. As a strong advocate for pharmacy technician advancement and professionalism, she is the BC provincial meeting representative for Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians. Atamjit enjoys volunteering with PTSBC as a secretary as well as being an active member of continuing education and newsletter committee.
