CONFERENCE COORDINATOR: Bal Dhillon
Bal completed her BSc from SFU and the Pharmacy Technician Certification from PTCB-Alberta. Bal is currently the Pharmacy Manager at the Pharmacy Drug Distribution Centre, Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services and has been actively involved in various Pharmacy Technician Initiatives. Bal was elected as the Pharmacy Technician Board member on the College of Pharmacists Board. She is a committee member on the Pharmacy Technician Task Group and Discipline Committee. She served as a subject matter expert for the Pharmacy Technician Jurisprudence Exam. Bal is a regulated Pharmacy Technician involved in various initiatives promoting education and personal growth for pharmacy personnel in British Columbia.Type your paragraph here.
INTERIM DIRECTOR: Yonette Harrod
Mrs. Yonette D. Harrod has spent nearly 25 years in pharmacy related roles and has been an active member in the Pharmacy Technician community for the last fifteen. She first completed her formal Pharmacy Technician education at Red Deer College, Alberta and later went on to finish a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Since her graduation, Mrs. Harrod has returned to the pharmacy profession, becoming a Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) in the United States and with PTCB-Alberta. In 2011, she became one of the first registered Pharmacy Technicians with the College of Pharmacists of BC. She is currently employed by Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services and works at St. Paul’s Hospital as the Pharmacy Operations Support Coordinator. Aside from her daily duties, Mrs. Harrod actively supports and promotes the profession by volunteering as the Director of Finance for the Pharmacy Technician Society of BC, is a committee member on the College of Pharmacists Practice Review Committee, and a committee member of the Program Advisory Committee for the Pharmacy Technician program at Vancouver Community College.
DIRECTOR OF ADVOCACY: Lynda Moleschi
Lynda has over 30 years experience in the Pharmacy industry. She is currently the Supervisor at Langley Memorial Hospital and is a Regulated Pharmacy Technician. She was a Steering Committee member – Regulation of Pharmacy Technicians Business Case Analysis, for the Council of the College of Pharmacists of BC in 2006 and a working group participant in 2007 for the Professional Competencies for Canadian Pharmacy Technicians at Entry to Practice for National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA)

PROMOTIONS COORDINATOR: Ashley Fairfield
Ashley graduated from a community college in 2004 and started working right away at Walmart Pharmacy from 2004 - 2007. She has been working with Fraser Health at the Pharmacy Drug Distribution Centre in Langley for the last 5 years and is currently one of the Pharmacy Supervisors. She is excited to write the PEBC Qualifying Exam in September 2012!
I am also the Mother of 2 beautiful children - Joshua and Emily. Outside of work I love to spend time with my husband and children, I enjoy cooking, camping and catching a movie when I can with my husband
DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION: Daisy Robillard
Daisy has been working in Pharmacy for the past 20 years. She has workedat London Drugs for 10 years and various Fraser health sites such as Royal Columbian Hospital and Eagle ridge where she still works as a casual employee. She also took on the role as the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor at Burnaby Hospital for 4 years. Daisy sits on the committee for Pharmacy Technicians Society of BC (PTSBC) and is also a member of Canadian Association of Pharmacy Technicians CAPT)
After obtaining her license as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician in July 2013, she worked at Vancouver Community College as an IV lab instructor and is currently working as a Pharmacy Technician Instructor at Stenberg College in Kamloops. When Daisy is not working, she is either finding endless projects to do in her new home in Kamloops or exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog.
